Honest Inflexibility

I think the phrase “whatever floats your boat” should be replaced by the shorter, simpler and much more honest “water.” I don’t think we should be implying flexibility where there is none. If you own a boat, it floats on water. Period. End of story. And if you think your boat is floating on happiness and moonbeams, you are a terrible captain. Some one should take your boat away from you, because you are crazy.
